Francesca James: Consultant at Willis Towers Watson

Francesca James

BSc MMORSE 2016

Consultant at Willis Towers Watson, Leeds

I can’t deny I was conflicted about applying for MORSE. Is it a recognised degree? Will everyone read ‘MORSE’ and assume it’s related to Morse code? After applying for internships in my second year and being very successful in the application, I realised it is definitely a degree worth having, especially if you plan to enter the world of finance. All the employers know about MORSE and have a good idea of how prestigious it is. This not only was a relief, but it boosted my confidence in interviews. Knowing that I was the type of candidate they were looking for made the whole process a lot easier, and I received multiple offers from well-established firms.

If you are career driven and want to gain the skills required for a life in the city, I would say MORSE is for you. Its flexible nature along with the massive support system available allow you to thrive on a challenging course. I have made lots of friends and would happily recommend this course.
