Ashley’s passion for drama and performance flourished during their PGCE at Warwick, preparing them to inspire students and lead as a Drama Teacher and Personal Development Lead in Performing Arts.

Why did you choose Warwick?

It is a top 10 university, and local schools hold Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) students from the University of Warwick in high regard.

What are you doing now?

I’m currently a Drama Teacher and Personal Development Lead (Performing Arts).

What motivates you to do what you do? 

A love for my subject, creating performances, and supporting pupil growth within the wider school community. The more challenging it is, the bigger the reward.

Best thing about the Warwick community?

Being able to give and receive support from other PGCE students who are training to teach the same subject.
