Why did you choose Warwick?

My choice of university was dependent on three main factors: Standard global rankings, course modules and scholarship opportunities. Warwick not just fit the bill but surpassed it so it was an obvious choice.

What are you doing now?

I am an Operational Resilience Analyst at Ardonagh Specialty.

What motivates you to do what you do? 

My primary motivation is understanding how relevant my role is to safeguard not just my company but also customers. Events like the Heathrow Airport closure, COVID-19, etc, have established the paramount importance of resilience in today's chaotic world. My role helps me bring my critical thinking and problem-solving skills to use. It has enabled me to bring people together to solve problems that they mutually face and can help each other with, something that is quite rewarding.

How has your time at Warwick influenced what you do now? 

On the technical side, my course focused on process excellence, and the tools that it taught have come in handy in my role. On the non-technical front, credit goes to my professors, who engaged the classes by using games and simulations. This honed my critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Working with peers from across the world also helped me appreciate varying perspectives and embody the spirit of collaboration., My choice of university was dependent on three main factors: Standard global rankings, course modules and scholarship opportunities.

It's diverse, welcoming, and you are surrounded by people (professors, peers, and staff) who make you want to be the best version of yourself.

Favourite place on campus?

I have so many! But the contemplation garden, sports centre and library are at the top.
