Why did you choose Warwick?

Warwick's reputation, campus and the modules taught on my course made me fall in love with Warwick.

What are you doing now?

PhD Student and Clinical Research Practitioner.

What motivates you to do what you do? 

Interactions with patients and participants who are just as passionate about research as I am.

How has your time at Warwick influenced what you do now?

During my time at Warwick, I volunteered in NHS settings to build up clinical experience that complimented my scientific knowledge. Having a mixture of interpersonal and academic skills is really valuable in healthcare.

Favourite memory? 

Volunteering with the Make a Smile charity, where I was able to make the experience of children in hospital a little better by providing them with a visit from a princess!

Best thing about the Warwick community?

How welcoming everyone is.

Favourite place on campus?

The bench by the river behind Rootes.
