Why did you choose Warwick?
I chose Warwick for its special master course and its excellence rating amongst universities in the UK. Also, because Warwick choses "its people" and offers scholarships that support the educational journey of students.
What are you doing now?
I am a Senior Staff Attorney at the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) Representation in Moldova.
What motivates you to do what you do?
The impact our programmes have in the justice sector, helping to prepare better legal professionals for the challenges of the criminal justice field. Also, working alongside very talented individuals.
How has your time at Warwick influenced what you do now?
Up until today it remains my best educational experience, for which I am profoundly grateful. I learned about development and legal reforms from academic papers, and now I work with reforms everyday in the justice sector in my home country, Moldova.
Favourite memory?
The open discussions in class, arguments, and critical approach. I was constantly challenged and learned from my professors and my colleagues.
Best thing about the Warwick community?
The campus life and its many possibilities.
Favourite place on campus?
The big green spaces, especially the park with the ducks.
