Why did you choose Warwick?
Warwick stood out for its interdisciplinary approach to food security – blending science, economics, and policy. I was particularly drawn to its reputation for research excellence and its global outlook. The supportive academic environment made it an easy choice.
What motivates you to do what you do?
I’m driven by the opportunity to connect nutritious, well-designed food products with the people who need them. It’s rewarding to see how good communication can promote healthier choices and support more sustainable food systems. The constant evolution of the industry also keeps me curious and engaged.
How has your time at Warwick influenced what you do now?
My MSc in Food Security gave me a deeper understanding of global food systems and the urgency of sustainable change. It taught me to think critically about supply chains, food policy, and consumer behaviour. That foundation has been essential in shaping how I approach marketing in the food industry today.
Favourite memory?
One of my favourite memories was collaborating with classmates from around the world during workshops. Those late-night brainstorming sessions – full of different perspectives, laughter, and shared snacks – really stuck with me. It was both intellectually stimulating and deeply human.
Best thing about the Warwick community?
The best part of the Warwick community is its diversity and openness. I always felt encouraged to speak up, ask questions, and be myself – whether in lectures or student events. There’s a genuine spirit of support and curiosity that makes Warwick feel like home.
