Quickfire Questions: Sahhil Chawla
Why did you choose Warwick?
For me, Warwick was the perfect blend of analytical thinking and real-world business problem solving. I wanted a place where I could strengthen my technical foundation while learning how to drive change in organisations, and Warwick delivered exactly that.
What are you doing now?
I lead an analytics team within Gartner’s Global Sales Strategy & Operations, focusing on solving business challenges through data intelligence, process optimisation, and automation. My team partners closely with global leadership to build scalable data-driven solutions.
What motivates you to do what you do?
What motivates me most is seeing how data can genuinely change the way people make decisions. I love translating numbers into stories that spark clarity and confidence. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that something built by my team helps leaders see their world a little differently.
How has your time at Warwick influenced what you do now?
Warwick taught me how to think beyond the obvious. It gave me the analytical toolkit to break down complex problems, but more importantly, the curiosity to ask ‘why?’ before jumping to solutions. That mindset, combining logic with empathy, has stayed with me and shapes the way I lead my analytics team today.
Best thing about the Warwick community?
Long evenings by the lake, countless cups of coffee, and brainstorming sessions that often drifted from assignments to life lessons. Those conversations with classmates from all over the world still stay with me.
