Quickfire Questions: Sara Gronningen

What are you doing now?

I am an Associate Consultant at Orbis Advisory, a boutique strategy consultancy specialised in sustainability for commercial real estate and private equity clients.

What motivates you to do what you do?

Passion and impact. I've always cared about the environment and climate change, and I wanted my career to reflect that. Luckily, I found my current role where I get to work in a field I am truly passionate about, and know I spend my days supporting and driving efforts to protect the environment and improve the society we live in.

How has your time at Warwick influenced what you do now?

The EPP course gave me a great deal of flexibility to explore my interests and find my passion. As a result, I was able to enrol in the 'Accounting for Sustainability' module offered by WBS which I thoroughly enjoyed. This led me to pursue a specialised Master's degree in ESG Management at King's College London, which in turn led me to my current role.
