Quickfire Questions: Tamara Bell
Editor-in-Chief Tamara spent a year studying in Venice as part of her degree
Why did you choose Warwick?
I chose Warwick because its reputation as a leading Russell Group University speaks for itself. My degree course also offered students the chance to live in Italy for a period of time, which was an unparalleled experience!
What are you doing now?
I am the Editor-in-Chief of the Art & Culture, Luxury Art Magazine. I run and oversee all editorial operations at Art Space.
What motivates you to do what you do?
My job is my hobby. What motivates me is the moment I hold each new edition of the Art & Culture magazine in my hands: the final finished product of so many months of hard work. Conducting and featuring interviews with iconic figures in the art world such as Tracey Emin, Jake Chapman, and Chris Levine, is one of the most enriching aspects of my role!
Favourite memory?
Definitely my time living in Venice and sharing a house with my best friends. I'll never forget those long days writing essays on the terrace whilst watching the sunset and eating Italian cuisine!
Best thing about the Warwick community?
Warwick is a place where like-minded people come together and connect. No matter your subject specialism, you'll grow and learn so much just through meeting extremely interesting people from all over the world. It's a place where you're encouraged to excel academically, and you'll constantly be learning from those around you.
Favourite place on campus?
Whitefields! I had many friends living there, and we always spent a lot of time together, so it's close to my heart!
