Sainsbury Science Management Fellows Scholarship
We’ve joined the Sainsbury Science Management Fellows Programme, provided by EIBF, which awards MBA scholarships of £50,000 to promising scientists who are looking to take their business skills to the next level. It aims to further aid the economic prosperity of the UK to help build on its leading reputation in scientific research.
Successful candidates must:
- Have a first degree in a science discipline – preferably a first or upper second class
- Have taken a GMAT exam, with a target score of 650+
- Demonstrate strong business leadership qualities and show a strong commitment to the economic development of the UK
- Be a UK National, currently living in the United Kingdom
- Have between four to ten years professional experience post-degree

Applications to the Sainsbury Science Management Fellows Scholarship should be made via the National Physical Laboratory, which administers the scholarship on EIBF’s behalf. Full application details can be found here.
It is not necessary to have secured a place at business school before applying for this scholarship. Successful applicants without a confirmed place at an approved business school will be given a scholarship ‘offer in principle’, which must be taken up within 12 months, otherwise the offer expires.
Once successful, you will need to make your full application to Warwick Business School, highlighting that you are a recipient of this scholarship.
