Do you have any fond memories?
I loved my time at Warwick. I have a permanent nostalgic feeling for my time there, I made a lot of friends from different countries with whom I still keep in touch.
Where did you live?
In Royal Leamington Spa, a beautiful and lovely town, with great neighbours and lots of pubs.
Were you a member of any societies?
I was a member of the Star Trek Society and on the Staff-Student Liaison Committee.
What are you doing now?
I am employed by an engineering consultancy firm as project coordinator and now I am leading in the area of green building.
Why did you decide to become an alumni ambassador?
I enjoy the opportunity to share experiences and wanted to promote activities which help Warwick alumni in Chile to get acquainted. This could also be an opportunity to share our experiences with future students.
What kind of events do you run? Do you get a good turnout?
We are not organised yet but I look forward to some events this year.
Have been back to Warwick recently?
No but I plan to travel to Europe and there will be an obligatory stop in England and the University.
Anything else you'd like to add?
I would recommend the University of Warwick to everyone who wants to have a rich and high level experience in the academic, social and cultural aspects.
Contact Jose if you want to attend or suggest an event in Chile or want to make contact with the alumni community there.
