When were you at Warwick?
I was at Warwick from Sep 2011-Sep 2012. I was a part of MSFE course at WBS. I had subjects from both – WBS, as well as the Department of Economics. Apart from the usual modules, I opted for Game Theory (my favourite!) and Behavioral Finance as optional modules in my final term.

Do you have any fond memories?
Of course! My time at Warwick was the best year of my life so far. I met amazing people during my stay there and made lifelong friends. I have very fond memories of studying at WBS, chilling in Costa Coffee, walking down the beautiful tree-lined Library Road, grabbing meals at Dirty Duck and late night walks around the campus.

Where did you live while you were at Warwick?
I lived on campus – at Lakeside, Block 3.

Were you a member of any societies?
WBSS, the Finance Society, and the Indian society

What are you doing now?
I’m working as an Equity Research Associate with UBS India (now Cognizant Technology) in Hyderabad.

Why did you decide to become an alumni ambassador?
I faced many issues in landing the perfect job after graduating from Warwick. So I understand what it’s like to struggle after your course. Thus, I want to do my bit in guiding and supporting students who feel the same.

What kind of people make up the Warwick alumni community in your area?
To be very frank, I don’t have a complete idea. As far as I could see on the University alumni website, there are very few ambassadors in India, and none in Hyderabad.

Have you been back to Warwick recently?
I visited Warwick last in January 2013, for my graduation. I didn’t get a chance to visit the University after that.
