What did you study at Warwick?
I pursued my BSc Management degree from 2006-2009. My favourite subjects were marketing and operational management.
Do you have any fond memories?
I enjoyed being involved in the One World Week event. It was great to how we could display the diversity of our student body.
Where did you live?
Arthur Vick and Liberty Park Coventry
Were you a member of any societies?
One World Week, Warwick Indonesian Society, Eastern Food Appreciation Society
What are you doing now?
I am currently working in PriceWaterhouse Coopers Indonesia as an associate in the Corporate Valuation Division. The nature of the job is challenging but I see it as an interesting one.
Why did you decide to become an alumni ambassador?
Warwick provided me with ample opportunities to broaden my horizon in many different aspects of my life. I remembered how hard it was for me as a prospective student to find a contact to discuss about my university choice. I believe that I can help others who are in my past position. I also made many good friends during my university years, those who are proud of being Warwick alumni. As an alumni ambassador, I am keen to provide a network for people like my friends and I.
What kind of people make up the local alumni community?
Most of the ones I know are quite young and are currently pursuing Masters Degrees or working as professionals. Some also decided to become entrepreneurs.
What kind of events do you run? Do you get a good turnout?
We currently run non-formal alumni gathering. Hopefully, our numbers would expand once we start establishing a formal alumni network in Indonesia.
Contact Ellen if you want to attend or suggest an event in Indonesia or want to make contact with the alumni community there.
