When were you at Warwick? What did you study? Who were you your tutors?
I graduated in 2013 with a BSc in Economics. I was very lucky to have Jeremy Smith as my personal tutor.
Do you have any fond memories?
I had a very active student life, the amazing memories are way too many to list!

1st year – Whitefields, 2nd year – Earlsdon, Coventry, 3rd year – Claycroft
Were you a member of any societies?
I was the President of Warwick Kazakh Society, Social Secretary of the Russian Speaking Society and member of a few more societies
What are you doing now?
I work as a consultant at McKinsey & Company in Astana
Why did you decide to become an alumni ambassador?
I had a very good time at university, I enjoy meeting Warwick students and alumni
What kind of people make up the Warwick alumni community in your area?
Our alumni network is very diverse
What kind of events do you run? Do you get a good turnout?
We organize regular alumni meetings. The largest event we hosted so far was the celebration of Warwick’s 50th Anniversary in Astana, where we gathered around 100 alumni, as well as representatives from Warwick University, educational institutions of Kazakhstan and the British Council. In addition, we provide support to Warwick representatives when they visit Kazakhstan, e.g. educational fairs and bilateral meetings with the educational institutions of Kazakhstan
