When were you at Warwick?
What did you study?
Master of Arts in English Language Teaching.
Do you have any fond memories?
Pretty much. Enjoyed especially the university’s trips for international students to places like Windsor Castle, Bristol and many other places. Plus the numerous friends I made some of whom we are still in touch.
Where did you live while you were at Warwick?
Off campus, Tile Hill.
What are you doing now?
Teaching English for Academic Purposes at the above university.
Why did you decide to become an alumni ambassador?
I look at it as a way of remaining in touch with this great university and also a way of helping others know about its existence this side of the world.
What kind of people make up the Warwick alumni community in your area?
A variety, but those I know are mostly academics and those working in the judiciary. Are they expatriates or locals? Mostly locals. Do they work in a particular sector? Mostly education and the judiciary.
Have you been back to Warwick recently?
Not since September 2010. I hope to get back in 2016 for PhD studies.
