When were you at Warwick?
I was at Warwick from 2009 to 2010 as an MSc student in Engineering Business Management. My project supervisor was Dr Martyn Pinfold who proved to be a wonderful gentleman and a worthy mentor. Some of the brilliant tutors who helped shape my career and cultivate a much appreciated culture of innovation and continuous improvement include Dr Adrian Watt, Caroline Birch, Nigel Brennan and Ramnik Bhardwa amongst others.
Do you have any fond memories?
I have several fond memories of my time at Warwick. The diversity of students with whom I studied introduced me to a whole new perspective of cultural enlightenment, and I have learned so much from them. I especially enjoyed the numerous student facilities at SU and the One World Week experience was second to none.
Where did you live?
I lived in an off-campus university accommodation in Earlsdon.
Were you a member of any societies?
No, but I was very active on the social network and I performed as a deejay at various WMG student organized events.
Why did you decide to become an alumni ambassador?
It is a pleasure to be associated with Warwick and my plan is to network with other outstanding people who are linked to the University in order to maintain the dynamism of the Warwick brand.
What kind of kind of people make up your alumni community?
At the moment they are all Nigerians who work in various sectors, but we welcome members from all around the globe.
Have been back to Warwick recently?
Yes, I came back in January 2011 to attend the winter graduation ceremony.
Contact Adegboyega if you want to attend or suggest an event in Nigeria or want to make contact with the alumni community there.
