Do you have any fond memories?

  • The lake and the swans at Warwick
  • The ever-beautiful campus
  • Truly international and multicultural class
  • Outdoor camping with other Christian students in winter!

Where did you live?

Were you a member of any societies?
African-Caribbean Society

What are you doing now?
Tax practice and business consulting. Currently working as Partner, Tax, Regulatory & People Services in KPMG, Nigeria.

Why did you decide to become an alumni ambassador?
It was out of interest to see Warwick Graduates Association established and entrenched in Nigeria.

What kind of people make up the Warwick alumni community in your area?
Largely Nigerians. Mostly lawyers, but there is now a growing MBA community

Do you run any events?
Our core event is the annual alumni reunion dinner. Attendance at the launch of WGA Nigeria in 2005 was impressive. We've had average attendance at subsequent events. Turnout at a drinks event held on 26 April 2010 at the instance of Warwick MBA Alumni was impressive.

Have been back to Warwick for a reunion?
Yes I returned in June 2009 to attend the Alumni Reunion Weekend programme. I was overwhelmed by physical developments since leaving in 1999. The beauty of the campus is awesome! Much more beautiful than when I left. Academic staff retention rates must be high. Most of the lecturers in the School of Law then are still on the staff list - 10 years after!

Contact Wole if you want to attend or suggest an event in Nigeria or want to make contact with the alumni community there.
