When were you at Warwick? What did you study?
I studied BSc in Economics from 2007 to 2010, then I studied MA in International Political Economy from 2010 to 2011.

Do you have any fond memories?
I look back at my time in Warwick with fondness and I am very grateful to have been part of Warwick community for 4 years. There are too many memories to list! The highlights would include: taking part in the Fashion Show during the One World Week, concerts in the Arts Centre, exposure to international community, constantly expanding my horizons and meeting new people.

Where did you live while you were at Warwick?
1st year – Heronbank, 2nd year- Charter Avenue, Coventry, 3rd year- Lakeside, 4th year- Leamington Spa.

Were you a member of any societies?
Warwick Kazakh Society, Unicef on Campus, Warwick Russian Speaking Society and others.

What are you doing now?
I am originally from Kazakhstan. I work as a Senior Associate at KPMG Lower Gulf in Dubai, UAE.

Why did you decide to become an alumni ambassador?
I decided to become an alumni ambassador, because I enjoy meeting Warwick students and alumni. Moreover, I want to further expand our alumni presence in UAE and build a strong community, where we can all meet, socialize and support each other. I am looking forward to representing Warwick University at different events, recommending my university to prospective students and sharing everything that the university life has to offer with them.

What kind of people make up the Warwick alumni community in your area?
Alumni community here is international. Our alumni members come from diverse backgrounds and from different countries.

Have you been back to Warwick recently?
I last visited Warwick in 2012 and would love to go back in the near future.
