Professor David Greenwood - Director for Industrial Engagement, and CEO of the High Value Manufacturing Catapult at WMG

Professor David Greenwood has extensive experience in both industry and academia. Previously, he established and led the Energy Directorate at WMG, leading over 200 researchers and engineers. His projects span several fields, including cars, trucks, boats, off highway machinery, aircraft and motorcycles. His research and expertise include batteries, electric motors, power electronics, and the integration and control of these for propulsion and energy use.

He moved into academia after 20 years in industry latterly as Head of Hybrid and Electric Systems for engineering consultancy Ricardo UK Ltd.

Professor Greenwood holds advisory and board positions for the Advanced Propulsion Centre, Innovate UK (Faraday Challenge and IDP) and the Faraday Institution. He is head of the Advanced Propulsion Centre's Electrical Energy Storage Spoke. In October 2023 he was honoured to be made a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering.

Andy, a WMG Warwick graduate (Manufacturing Systems Engineering (IGDS), 1990), brings unparalleled expertise in automotive innovation to the table. During his tenure at Nissan, he oversaw the groundbreaking launch of the Nissan LEAF, hailed as the world's first mass-market electric vehicle. His pivotal role in this milestone led the media to dub him the 'godfather of EVs'.

Today, Andy continues to drive progress in the net-zero space, collaborating with a diverse range of innovative mobility companies. With his extensive experience and visionary approach, he offers invaluable insights into the future of sustainable transportation and the journey towards net zero.

Eszter, leads an ambitious strategic transition to net zero at one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing multinational automotive component manufacturers - Motherson Group.

Eszter, brings a wealth of expertise in sustainability, the adoption of new technology, and innovative concepts to deliver large-scale business transformation projects within the automotive sector.

She previously spent seven years at Rolls Royce in Business Development, Marketing, and Sales across the Americas, Asia and Europe. Eszter completed an MSc in Marketing & Strategy from Warwick Business School in 2010.

Aditya Jairaj - CEO & Managing Director for Stellantis India

Stellantis operates the Jeep & Citroen brands in India, and Aditya Jairaj holds responsibility for the group’s National Sales Companies, manufacturing operations and Stellantis India operations.

Aditya has diverse experience in the automotive industry, particularly in sustainability, having spent the last 20 years working across multiple geographies, including the US, Japan, South Africa, Indonesia, and India. Before joining Stellantis, he was the Head of EV Strategy and Transformation for Nissan North America.

Aditya completed an MSc in Engineering Business Management, from WMG in 2007 and in 2022 was awarded the coveted Automotive News Rising Star Award.
