CADRE Workshop Series
Throughout the year the CADRE team run a series of workshops focused on different aspects of PhD life. Workshops are open to all Arts PGRs regardless of stage in the PhD. The 2025/26 workshop series details are available below - please sign up below!
Monash Prato Writing Workshop
We are pleased to announce that the 2026 Monash Graduate Research Writing and Publishing Workshop will take place on the 15th to 19th June 2026! The 4.5 day Workshop will be held in Prato, Italy at the Monash University Prato Centre, Italy. This is a funded opportunity - 5 PGR places are available, each including a bursary for the costs of travel and accommodation (£1200 max.)
Last year 4 Arts PGRs attended the workshop along with Professor David Lambert from 3rd-6th June 2025. Reflections on their experiences are posted via the reflections link below!
PG Cert in Transferable Skills
This PG Cert offers a variety of modules that are transferrable and applicable to Arts students. Transferable skills are the skills that transcend all professions. Continual professional development across all skills improves not only career prospects, but also how you are perceived and overall life chances.
Modules are open to PGRs outside the SEM Faculty and this cross-disciplinary participation is expected to enrich the experience for all attendees.

Arts Research Festival 2026
