Graduate Studies in Numismatics

There are three ways to undertake postgraduate studies in numismatics at Warwick:

  • Taught MA in Ancient Visual and Material Culture

    Apart from classes in numismatics forming part of the core module of this course, there is also an optional module where students can specialise in numismatics. Students can choose to write their dissertation on a numismatic topic. For further details click here.

  • MA by research

    Students can choose one of two options: Either a 40,000 word dissertation; or a 25,000 word dissertation plus 2 x 5,000 word essays (1 year full time, two years part time). For further details click here.

  • PhD

    Students opt to undertake intensive study leading to a 80,000 word thesis. (3 years full time, 7 years part time. For further details click here.
