The Digital Arts Lab
The Faculty's own community of staff and students concerned with developing digital pedagogies. Includes regular activities (such as the annual DAL Showcase) and special projects (such as the Digital Assessment project and the Digital Pedagogy Library). Find out more about the DAL.
The Extended Classroom
A University-wide community with over 500 members. Monthly meet-ups (in Teams and on-campus). Lively Teams channels including:
- News, live events and opportunities;
- Advice on choosing techniques;
- Apple users peer support;
- Microsoft tools peer support.
Digital Accessibility Network
Concerned with challenges and solutions around making our digital learning accessible to all students. Join in Teams.
Learning Design Consultancy Unit
The LDCU provides various learning-design related services, including hosting a community in Teams, running events, and a weekly call-in chat show with Jim Judges. Find out more in Teams.
VR Club
An informal club, with a Teams space, for sharing examples and running events. The club has access to VR equipment, and links to industry partners. In 2020-2021 it has been inactive due to lockdowns, but will now restart. Join in Teams.
