Conclusion and Showcase
Today, we will reflect on our three case studies and on the nature and impacts of representations, expectations, and prejudices related to migrants, migration and settlement. We will consider what factors seem to influence the experiences of and responses to all migrants, and which are particular to time, place, or ethnicity. Finally, we will discuss what our responsibilities are in relation to migration practice and migration politics, both as historians and as members of civil society.
We will also have a showcase of some of the fantastic work you have all done in your applied projects, and look at some of the ways past students have developed their Applied Projects beyond Warwick.
