The Two Chairs Creative Writing Competition, run by James Hodkinson (Warwick, SMLC) and Karen Leeder (Oxford), attracted several hundred entries in both German and English from young and senior writers alike between September and March 2018. This all culminates in reading and prize giving on May 9, in Oxford’s Holywell Music Room. 17:30-19:30, doors at 17:00. There, the winners will read their entries, alongside established poets such as Ian McMillan, Hanan Isa, and the recently nominated poet Laureate for London Youth Momtaza Mehri, all of whom judged the competition.
