PhD scholarships competition, deadline 18th January 2017

Outstanding candidates may be eligible to compete for:

· CADRE scholarships, for home/EU PhD applicants in the Arts and Humanities (13 available);

· Chancellor’s International scholarships, for non-EU PhD applicants (25 available);

· Wolfson scholarships for students embarking on PhD studies in History, Literature and Languages (3-4 available).

The School of Modern Languages and Cultures will select candidates internally to nominate for these awards. The application deadline for this year’s competition is 11:59pm (GMT) on Wednesday 18th January 2017.

Applicants who are interested in postgraduate study at Warwick specifically in Italian, or in Modern Languages and Cultures more broadly, are warmly encouraged to contact Jenny Burns (j.e.burns@warwick.ac.uk) as early as possible, and not later than 9th December 2016. Please include a brief outline of your proposed research project and a CV or short description of your academic qualifications and experience.
