Database

The Vernacular Aristotelianism in Renaissance Italy database (VARI) was created by Drs. Eugenio Refini and David Lines as part of the AHRC project, 'Vernacular Aristotelianism in Renaissance Italy c.1400-c.1650,' which was completed in January 2014. The database is in need of updating as the last addition of data was in July, 2013. It was migrated to a new platform by Dr. Bryan Brazeau, research fellow on the ERC 'Aristotle in the Italian Vernacular' project in January 2017.
