Warwick Medicine, Ethics and Society are involved in a range of research projects regarding the ethical and societal implications of healthcare practice and research. One example is the Imagining Futures project, examining the social and ethical implications of genetic screening.

Health Economics

The work members of the Centre produce informs NICE guidelines and helps to determine which drugs should become mandatory on the NHS. The trials members of the centre conduct have a direct impact on future research and on future funding of drugs and interventions by the NHS.

Clinical Trials Unit

The Clinical Trials Unit examines different approaches for trials to see if they will benefit patients, and/or reduce costs to the NHS.
