  • Biography

    Veronica Nanton joined CPHCS in January 2005. Prior to this she has worked as a research fellow at the University of Birmingham in the Department of Public Health & Epidemiology and as a researcher in the voluntary sector at the National Institute of Conductive Education and the Parkinson's Disease Society. She has also been a researcher/social worker for the City of Birmingham Social Services Department.

    Veronica gained her PhD in 2004 from the University of Birmingham. Her study investigated factors contribution to the unequal experience of unintentional injuries in the home to children under five. She holds an MSc in Applied Psychology, a BA in African Studies and French and a Certificate of Qualification in Social Work.
