Attending an Open Day will give you the opportunity to learn more about studying medicine here at WMS. You will be able to find out more about the application process, sample a taster clinical skills session, gain an understanding of the course structure, how it is taught and find out from our current students what it is really like to be a medical student at WMS.
Please note, we are unable to arrange appointments for individual applicants to meet with academic or admissions staff.
Have any questions about our open days? You should be able to find everything you need to know here, but if there's anything not covered, please contact us and let us know.

A. Yes - it is essential you book a place online for the Open Day as there is a maximum number of places available.
Q. Will I receive confirmation?
A. Yes - you will receive an email confirming you have a place. A programme and directions will also be sent to you approximately 1 week prior to the event.
Q. Can I bring a guest with me?
A. Yes, you are welcome to bring someone to accompany you ie. a parent, friend or partner. Capacity allowing, they may be able to attend the presentations in the lecture theatres. However, it would not be appropriate for them to attend the taster sessions in the afternoon. Refreshments will be available during the hour long taster sessions for applicants guests.

Q. Can I arrange a private appointment to meet with the Director of Admissions?
A. Our Open Days give potential applicants far more information and insight into the MB ChB programme at Warwick Medical School than a meeting with one member of staff. The Director of Admissions is however, usually present at Open Days and is willing to answer questions. We hope you appreciate it is not possible to give potential applicants a private appointment, as we would be unable to meet demand.
Q. Will I be able to speak to current MB ChB students?
A. Yes, students will give a presentation on their experiences of the course and how they found the admissions process. There will also be the chance to chat to students during the breaks.
Q. How can I get in touch if I have any questions?
A. If you have any questions that aren't covered here, please Email us.
