Population & Health Data Science
Specialists in methodology, driving research innovation to deliver robust science to our end users which reflects the priorities of patients, carers, service users, the public, health care professionals and policy. We will scale our population health research to improve the delivery and experiences of care from person to population and across the life span. Utilising large NHS and health, and social care datasets, we will generate healthcare improvements for individual patients and service providers. Our goal is to enable large scale data analytics to capitalise on the range of clinical academics in Warwick Applied Health to benefit individual patient interaction and enhance population health.

Health Technology Innovation
We evaluate the social, ethical and community impact of digital technologies and health technology; and have specific expertise in applied qualitative methods, epidemiology, health economics, health outcomes, evaluation, diagnostic and test accuracy, implementation science, and patient, and public involvement. Capitalising on our significant expertise, we aim to build data science and data analyst capacity to accelerate our health technology evaluation footprint.

Mental Health and Wellbeing
Warwick Applied Health brings decades of social psychiatry and psychosocial care research which has produced a high number of evidence-based interventions. We drive forward the national and international debate and world leading research in discovery and implementation across mental health and wellbeing services. Key areas include Artificial Intelligence, Care Interfaces and Integration and User Engagement where we will develop the next generation of psychosocial research tools and interventions for people with mental illness.
