Responsible for leading and co-ordinating Chemistry's senior management team and taking a strategic view of the Department’s mission and activity. The Head is supported by senior colleagues who lead the Department’s academic and support functions and who steer the Department’s strategic planning.

Deputy Head Department (People and Culture)

Leads on all aspects of academic staff development across the department in pursuit of the promotion of a positive working culture for all.

Professor Andrew Clark
Associate Head of Department (Educational Strategy)

Strategic lead on all aspects of teaching and learning across the provision of courses and modules in the Department.

Dr David Fox

Associate Head of Department (Education Operations)

The academic lead on the delivery of all aspects of teaching and learning across the provision of courses and modules in the Department.

Prof Richard Walton
Deputy Head Department (Research)

Leads the Department’s management, development, and delivery of research activities.

Donna McIntyre
Director of Operations

Responsible for strategic and operational planning for Chemistry and leading the development and delivery of the Department’s Professional Support Services including the Technical Services .

Teresa O'Sullivan
Executive Officer

Support the effective running of the Department through the provision of comprehensive administrative support, and in particular to the Head of Department and Senior Leadership team.
