Our goal is to combine native mass spectrometry with ambient mass spectrometry imaging to enable simultaneous acquisition of spatial and structural information on intact proteins directly from their physiological environment. Latest developments for the identification, structural characterisation, and imaging of monomeric proteins, protein assemblies, and protein-ligand complexes directly from a range of tissue types and pathologies will be presented.
