Unwin and O'Reilly win prestigious RSC awards

Professor Pat Unwin and Dr Rachel O’Reilly have won highly prestigious Royal Society of Chemistry Awards this year.

This is in recognition of their very significant contributions to their respective research fields.

Dr Rachel O'Reilly has been awarded the 2012 RSC Hickinbottom Award. One award is made every year to recognise contribution to any area of organic chemistry from a researcher under the age of 35.

Professor Pat Unwin has won the 2012 RSC Tilden Prize and Lectureship. Three of these awards are made every year to recognise advances in chemistry.
