Athena SWAN Awards Success

Warwick departments have won four Athena SWAN awards this year, recognising our commitment to advancing women's careers in STEMM academia. The School of Engineering and School of Life Sciences both achieved Bronze department status, the Chemistry department retained its previous Silver status, and Warwick Medical School was the recipient of the Silver department award for the first time.

Silver awards recognise that in addition to institution-wide policies the department has a significant record of activity and achievement and has identified particular challenges, has implemented activities and can demonstrate their impact so far.
