The Library provides a mixture of independent and group working areas, but it’s more than just a learning space. It also offers a range of student skills and support services to help you get the most out of your time at Warwick.

Learning facilities

You’ll have access to more than a million printed works, as well as tens of thousands of online texts. You can also access the online resources remotely, so you don’t need to come to the library if you don’t want to. In addition, you can use the Library’s multimedia resources, PCs, printers, copiers and scanners.

Skills courses and support with study

Our specialist staff are happy to answer your questions about using the library, and can provide one-to-one sessions on how to search through our texts, databases and other resources. They have also developed online courses to help you with study topics such as research skills, and plagiarism and referencing.

Supporting your wellbeing

The Library prides itself on being a community, not just a building. You’ll find many resources and events to ensure you strike a balance between your work and relaxation.

The Study Happy events are a great opportunity to meet other students, develop new skills and just take a break and have fun. They include the ever-popular Pets as Therapy dogs day.

What do our students say?

“As everyone knows, Warwick University Library is THE place to be on campus. Forget clubs and bars, the library is the most social place of all. You bring us together like nothing I’ve seen before, and together, it feels like we can understand everything."

“The Library regularly organises sessions with Pets as Therapy dogs... I’d definitely recommend checking it out because it’s a lovely way to de-stress and meet some very friendly dogs and their equally friendly owners!”
