Warwick student wins first prize in IStructE poster competition
Tom Creer, a Warwick MEng Civil Engineering student, has been awarded first prize for his undergraduate project entitled Walking excitation of high frequency floors, under the supervision of Dr Stana Zivanovic. The prize has been awarded in the Institution of Structural Engineers poster category for projects sponsored by the Institution's undergraduate research grants scheme. Tom's poster will be presented at the 2012 Young Researchers Conference for PhD students to be held at the Institution in March.
Warwick undergraduate receives professional institution student prize
Final year civil engineer Peter Gow (right) receives his certificate and prize from Midland Counties’ chairman Jon Bird on 22nd November 2011. This Institution of Structural Engineers’ prize, for 2011, is for the Warwick student "showing the most promising academic achievement in their penultimate year of study in structural engineering".
