Disaster preparedness became a recognized healthcare delivery issue with the advent of the global pandemic in early 2020. What are some of the different ways that the global Clinical Engineering (CE) community responded and what can we learn from these efforts as CEs partnered with the World Health Organization. Clinical Engineers and other Health Technology Management practitioners have made a significant difference at the global, regional, country and local hospital levels; we will examine both how these interventions developed and what best practices can we consider as we prepare for the next unexpected catastrophic situation.

An open discussion will follow all presentations, moderated by Prof Leandro Pecchia and Dr Yadin David.
