Alumni Discount Scheme for Life Sciences Masters Degrees (2025 Entry)

The School of Life Sciences is therefore offering a 20% tuition fee discount for graduates of Warwick accepted onto the following postgraduate programmes:

Eligibility
The 20% tuition fee discount will be available to Warwick graduates who have Home or Overseas fee status and will be studying one of the Masters programmes above. You must be a graduate of Warwick at level 6 or above (e.g. Bachelor's Degree). Students who have studied at UCB and received a degree (level 6 or above) which is accredited by the University of Warwick are also eligible for the discount.
You must be self-funding and have no other source of financial support from outside of the University of Warwick other than a student loan. You will not be eligible if you are a student sponsored by or holding a scholarship from an external organisation.
You are eligible for the 20% discount as long as you apply in the current admissions cycle and identify on your application that you have a qualification from the University at Level 6 or above (e.g. Bachelor's Degree).
Self-funded (self-paying) definition
You are considered to be a self-funded or self-paying student if you are financing your studies with your own savings or if you are receiving financial assistance from family or friends. If you take out a student loan to cover the cost of your studies you are also considered to be self-funded.
You are not self-funded if your fees are being paid by your employer or a third party (other than family and friends) or if you are in receipt of a study grant or scholarship external to the University.
Availability
There are no closing dates and Warwick graduates do not need to apply for the discount.
Additional Scholarship opportunities
You might be eligible for additional funding toward your masters level study through the Warwick Taught Masters Scholarship Scheme as well. This scheme is for UK domiciled students only. It supports access to masters level study for up to 50 students per year who are from demographic groups which are under-represented in postgraduate education.
Payment
As long as you meet the criteria detailed above, the 10% discount will be applied against the tuition fee on your student account.
