Condensed mathematics reading group
Over winter term 2026 we are running a reading group on condensed mathematics, as introduced by Clausen-Scholze. Our primary reference for this will be the (extensive!) background chapter of Emma Brink's paper on Condensed Group CohomologyLink opens in a new window, with the aim being to learn about the classic topics of condensed mathematics in a modern framework. For full abstracts, and other suggested references, please view the syllabus.
We will be meeting Wednesdays at 16:00 in A1.01 along with a concurrent Teams stream of the lecture for online attendees (link to be determined).
