Congratulations Class of 2025!
Our 2025 Summer Graduation took place on Thursday 17 July, celebrating the fantastic achievements of students from our BSc Health & Medical Sciences, BSc Integrated Natural Sciences, MB ChB and postgraduate taught and research programmes.
The day kicked off with a special Honours Breakfast event hosted by our Dean, Professor Gavin Perkins, for our MB ChB students graduating with Honours. Following the morning's degree ceremony in the Butterworth Hall, all of our new graduates were invited to join us for a celebration lunch, where special prizes were awarded for graduates who had excelled during their time at Warwick - see details below.

Summer 2025 Prizewinners
Dean’s Overall Performance Prize
Winner: Dr Andrew Swansbury
The Dean’s Overall Performance Prize is awarded to the student who is the overall highest ranked finalist.
WMS Clinical Finals Prize
Winner: Dr Andrew Swansbury
This award is given to the student who achieved the overall best performance in their end of Phase 3 clinical exam.
WMS Written Finals Prize
Winner: Dr Mohammed Umar
This award is given to the student who achieved the overall best performance in their end of Phase 3 written exam.
The Pridgeon Research Prize
Winner: Dr Maile Wedgwood
This award is given to the finalist who has undertaken research of the highest quality as selected by a panel of senior MB ChB colleagues.
Pro Dean Prize for Education

This award is given to the final year student(s) who have shown excellence in medical education.
The Yvonne Carter Memorial Prize
Winner: Dr Beth Stinchcombe
This award is given to the final year student who has excelled at a discipline outside of their medical studies or has contributed significantly to life at the University of Warwick.
Henry Parsey Psychiatry Prize

This award is given to the student who has shown excellence in psychiatry.
