Biography
Dr David MacIntyre is a Senior Lecturer in Reproductive Systems Medicine in the Institute of Reproductive and Developmental Biology, Imperial College London. He also holds a Medical Research Council (MRC) Career Development Award fellowship. His research is primarily focused on investigating the dynamic relationship between microbiota of the reproductive tract and the maternal host during pregnancy and understanding how this relationship impacts upon pregnancy outcomes and risk of preterm birth.
