The beautiful game: Reflections on elite sport, enquiry and education
In this lecture, Lucy will reflect on a teaching focused academic career, charting the journey from Further Education college lecturer to Pro Dean of Education in a medical school, via clinical sport rehabilitation practice and elite sports medicine research. Through considering what sport can teach us, both good and bad, Lucy will explore education, learning and teaching as the ultimate ‘team sport’.
