Speaker: Associate Professor Basia Diug, Head of Undergraduate Courses, Head of MERQ (Quality and Innovation) and the MD SIP Coordinator at Monash University

At the end of 2020 Monash University will graduate its first MD cohort. One key feature will be the addition of Scholarly Intensive Placements (SIPs) in the final year of the medical degree.

This seminar will take a closer look at the MD and specifically the SIPs by outlining the approach, assessment strategy, and discussing challenges associated with having placements for a cohort of 500 students.

Assoc. Prof Basia Diug is the Head of Undergraduate Courses, Head of MERQ (Quality and Innovation) and the MD SIP Coordinator and places up 60 per year in research projects at the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine.
