Warwick secures UKRI backing to help bring digital Endometrium Function Test from lab to clinic

A pioneering project at the University of Warwick is poised to transform reproductive health diagnostics, thanks to new funding from UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). Led by Warwick Medical School researchers Joanne Muter and Chow Seng Kong, the initiative will develop the digital Endometrium Function Test - a comprehensive molecular profiling tool that provides clinicians with deep insights into endometrial function.

By moving this innovation from the laboratory into clinical practice, the project has the potential to improve fertility and miscarriage care and make a lasting difference for patients worldwide.

The project is one of 48 selected for support under UKRI’s new £9 million Proof of Concept programme, which aims to accelerate the commercialisation of innovative research across the UK.
