Prof Glen Burley knighted in King's Birthday Honours

Congratulations to Professor Glen Burley, Chief Executive of South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust, who has been knighted in the King's Birthday Honours in recognition of his contribution to NHS leadership and, most recently, his national role as NHS England Deputy Chief Executive.

Glen is an honorary professor here at Warwick Medical School. He leads the SWFT Foundation Group, including George Eliot, Warwick, Worcester and Hereford hospitals, as Chief Executive - a key strategic partner for the medical school in teaching, research and innovation.

Professor Gavin Perkins MBE, Dean of Medicine at Warwick Medical School, said, "We are delighted to see Glen's achievements recognised in this way, especially given his local, regional and national roles, and his long-standing association with, and support for, all we do here at WMS and the wider University."
