A team of four second year MB ChB students, the 'Titanic Swim Team', have been crowned winners of this year's WMS Game Show Jamboree - for the second year in a row!

The Game Show Jamboree is an annual event at WMS which sees eight student and staff teams compete for the chance to win a trophy and £400. This year's staff teams included our Dean, Professor Sudhesh Kumar, and Head of Medical Education Professor Colin Macdougall.

Following a buffet and drinks, our teams battled it out in seven rounds based on the format of different television gameshows, from University Challenge and Only Connect to Catchphrase and Eggheads, with one team being eliminated at the end of each round.

As well as answering questions on a variety of topics, contestants who made it as far as round five were tasked with creating Eiffel Towers out of aluminium foil as part of the 'Generation Show' round.
