Dr Hollie White appointed to Board of Certification for Athletic Training International Committee

Dr Hollie White, Assistant Professor in Health Sciences, and Theme Co-Lead for WMS BSc Health and Medical Sciences course has been appointed to the Board of Certification for Athletic Training International Committee (BOC-IC). The Board are responsible for supporting the BOC’s vision of ensuring that health care professionals worldwide have access to globally recognized standards of competence and exceptional credentialing programmes that support them in the protection of the public and the provision of excellent care.

Of her appointment, Dr White commented 'The Board of Certification for Athletic Training International Committee (BOC-IC) is expanding its membership and I am really excited to start working with them. Athletic Training is a global profession, and this appointment solidifies links between my UK professional body – The British Association of Sport Rehabilitation and Training (BASRaT) and health care professionals worldwide'.

'This appointment can also act as a platform to champion the incredible value of musculoskeletal rehabilitation, athletic training, and exercise as medicine, making a difference in health, worldwide'.
