Winter Graduation 2019 - WMS celebrates student success

Our Winter Graduation and WMS prizegiving event took place on central campus on Wednesday 16 January, providing an opportunity to celebrate our Medical School student’s fantastic work, achievements and awards.

The day began with the morning’s degree ceremony in the Butterworth Hall, in which our Master's and PhD students became new graduates. Following the morning's celebrations, WMS students were invited to a special buffet lunch and prizegiving ceremony in the Rootes building on campus. Our Pro-Dean for Education, Professor Lesley Roberts, welcomed guests and awarded diplomas to our Orthodontic Therapy students and prizes to those students who had excelled throughout their time studying at Warwick.

Professor Roberts concluded her congratulatory message to students saying: “Wherever you go from this point on I know you will go there with care and compassion remembering that every encounter counts and with the commitment to use your new knowledge and skills always with compassion, humility and kindness”.

From all at Warwick Medical School, congratulations to all our prize-winners and new graduates! We wish you the best of luck in your future.

Warwick Medical School’s professional photographer captured photos throughout the prizegiving event. You are very welcome to download any you'd like to keep from the day here.
