"I joined the Unit of Academic Primary Care in March 2021, as an Academic Clinical Fellow in General Practice. Part of my week is spent working for the University, whilst the rest is spent working as a trainee in General Practice in Warwickshire.
"I completed my medical degree at the University of Sheffield, before moving to London to complete my Foundation Training. I then worked as a specialty trainee in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in London, before moving to Warwickshire and switching to General Practice
"My interest in research started during some time I spent in Nepal, during my undergraduate career, where I worked with a Clinical Lecturer in General Practice from Australia. I learnt from him how important research is in establishing best practice, and that research has the potential to improve not only the health of individuals, but also the health of whole populations.
"I have an MSc in Reproductive and Sexual Health Research and my research interests lie in Women’s Health in the community, especially postnatal care, preconceptual counselling and interval pregnancy care."
