Ten members of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Division took part in the Laksh Charity quiz held at Warwick's Cryfield Barn hosted by the Vice Chancellor Nigel Thrift and his wife in aid of the charity, the Warwick Laksh Project. The enthusiastic MHWB team called the"Mentallists", captained up by HoD Prof Swaran Singh made early gains in the proceedings staying ahead of the competition for most of the event but unfortunately were overtaken on the last round by a solitary point. "We gave the competition a run for their money," said Captain Singh " it was a tremendous achievement and a thoroughly enjoyable evening in a great cause." He added "We'll be back next year!"

The Warwick Laksh Project is a collaborative project with the Laksh Foundation near Delhi, India. Warwick provide volunteer student teachers in a network of five community schools as well as a women's sewing co-operative.
